After Performing Umrah with Her Husband, Asty Ananta Remembers that Death Can Come at Any Time

Kapanlagi.com - Asty Ananta, after performing Umrah with her husband, Hendra Suyanto, seems to be busy improving herself. She does this not without reason, as during Umrah, Asty Ananta witnessed the death of a female preacher who was the wife of the preacher who guided her.

This is what ultimately reminds Asty about death and sincerity. Even she and her husband agreed to continue their business, but in a more blessed way.

"My husband and I always strive to become better individuals, but we try and pray that Allah allows us to become better individuals and maintain good thinking manners," said Asty Ananta when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (29/4).

"Even in business, we agree to pursue it for blessings, not just talking about material things. We believe that God grants a long life to do and be beneficial to many people," she continued.

1. Becoming a More Grateful Person

In addition, for this 39-year-old woman, the experience became a moment that made her become more grateful for the life she has. Even Asty seemed to be reminded of death that could come anytime.

"Maybe for me personally, being reminded of death is like yesterday after the prayer, usually after the tarawih prayer in the holy land, there is a funeral prayer that we sincerely say," she said.

"Yes, among us, we were touched, feeling Allah's blessings, we were given a long life but we were also allowed to pray for those who passed away, their passing in the holy land, God willing, fulfilling one worship in the month of Ramadan," she added.

2. Preparing Oneself for Death

Not only that, remembering that, Asty and her husband now prepare themselves for death with gratitude, not fear.

"Indeed, the preparation is mainly spiritual, especially for me and my husband, we believe that death is certain but how to prepare so that what exists is gratitude when called and not fear," she said.
