After Rizky Febian, Reza Arap Will Be Investigated by Bareskrim Polri Regarding Doni Salmanan's Case on Thursday

Kapanlagi.com - The Indonesian National Police's Criminal Investigation Department will question several celebrities who received money from Doni Salmanan, the suspect in the alleged fraudulent investment scheme Quortex.

After Rizky Febian, now it's the turn of the film actor and YouTuber Reza Arap to undergo questioning. It is known that Reza Arap once received a gift of Rp 1 billion from Doni Salmanan.

The Director of Sub-Directorate I of the Criminal Investigation Department's Cyber Crime Division, Commissioner Pol Reinhard Hutagaol, confirmed that his team had sent a summons for questioning to Reza Arap. It is scheduled that Reza Arap will undergo questioning on Thursday (18/3/2022).

"Yes, it's true (Reza Arap will be questioned). The summons was for Friday, but he said he would come tomorrow," said Reinhard Hutagaol when contacted by the media on Wednesday (16/3/2022).

Reza Arap confirmed that he will be examined by the Bareskrim Mabes Polri regarding the alleged investment or trading case involving Quortex Doni Salmanan. Through his Twitter account, Reza Arap will comply with the Bareskrim's summons for questioning.

"Bareskrim Tommorow, let's Go," wrote Reza Arap on his Twitter account, Wednesday (16/3/2022).

Previously reported, Reza Arap's name was widely discussed because he was rumored to have received Rp. 1 billion from Doni Salmanan while live streaming playing online games.

Previously, the Director of Cyber Crime at Bareskrim Polri Brigjen Asep Edi Suheri stated that the suspect of the alleged binary option fraud under the Quotex platform, Doni Salmanan, obtained hundreds of billions of wealth in one year.

"I have conveyed at the beginning, from 2021 until now, so it has been one year," said Asep Edi during a press conference at Bareskrim Polri, South Jakarta, Wednesday (15/3).

In addition, the police have also seized all assets suspected to have been obtained from the fraud committed by Doni Salmanan. Namely, money, houses, cars, motorcycles, and expensive branded items that he wore daily.

"The details are cash of currently 3.3 billion, and there are also two houses in Candra Asih Kota Baru Parahyangan Bandung, and also land of 500 square meters each located on Jalan Candra Asih Kota Bandung Parahyangan, and land of 400 square meters in Soreang," he said.

"For two-wheeled vehicles, there are 18 motorcycles. Then there are sports motorcycles, such as Ducati Superlegara, Kawasaki, BMW. And furthermore, we have also seized six four-wheeled motor vehicles, including Porsche, Lamborghini, BMW, and others," Asep Edi added.

The total of all seized evidence is said to be 97 items, according to Asep Edi. The police are also still investigating other items that have not yet been secured.

"The total value is approximately IDR 64 billion," he concluded.
