Aghniny Haque Stars in Horror Movie 'PEMANDI JENAZAH' Adapted from a True Story

Kapanlagi.com - Director Hadrah Daeng Ratu collaborates again with screenwriter Lele Laila. They are part of a horror movie under the banner of Visual Media Studio titled PEMANDI JENAZAH.

Hadrah reveals the reason for being interested in directing a movie with a screenplay written by Lele. Because besides being adapted from a true story, being a mortician is not a casual profession.

"Being a mortician is not a casual profession because there are many taboos, and there are also terrifying stories that they cannot express. That's why making this movie requires courage," said Hadrah quoted from a text message received by KapanLagi.com on Saturday (30/12/2023).

1. Accept the Role of a Mortician

THE MORTICIAN casts Aghniny Haque as the lead actress. She plays the character named Lela, who is the daughter of a mortician.

"The story of this film is terrifying because it tells about sacred things. During filming, there were many scenes that were more than frightening and suspenseful," leaked the 26-year-old actress.

In addition to Aghniny Haque, THE MORTICIAN is also starred by Djenar Maesa Ayu, Ibrahim Risyad, Amara Sophie, and Ruth Marini. Scheduled to be released in 2024, the film tells the story of Lela whose mother died suddenly.
