Agni Pratistha Obsessed to Play Ghost Characters, Granted in the Horror Movie 'PASAR SETAN' - Spirit of Shooting Every Night

Kapanlagi.com - Agni Pratistha makes a comeback in playing a feature film after being absent for five years. She stars in the horror movie directed by Wisnu Surya Pratama titled PASAR SETAN which is adapted from a true story.

In this film under the IDN Pictures banner, Agni plays the character of a ghost named Nyi Salimah. Playing the role of a ghost apparently makes her happy because she has long wanted to get that role.

"I really wanted to be a demon in a horror movie. Because not everyone wants to play that character. Until finally I was offered, this is what I want, it's fate," said Agni when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (27/2/2024).

1. Spirit of Shooting Every Night

In horror movies, shooting schedule is usually at night until morning. Agni Pratistha admitted to being very excited about shooting time, especially when wearing scary makeup.

"The shooting of this film starts every evening, from the moment the sun disappears until it rises again. And I enjoy every process of it, maybe because it's a dream come true. The energy of the cast and crew is very positive. It makes shooting not feel tiring, enjoyable," she explained.

2. Hours of Ghost Makeup

Playing as a ghost, Agni Pratistha's appearance needs a total transformation. Her face is made to look scary, complete with specially designed costumes. This transformation takes hours.

"For the makeup, I have two variations. The first makeup takes two hours, while the second makeup takes three to four hours," said Sigi Wimala's younger sister.
