Wulan Guritno decided to file a civil lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend, Sabda Ahessa, at the South Jakarta District Court. One of the contents of her lawsuit is to request the return of 396,150,000 Rupiah.
The problem started when they were still in a romantic relationship. The mother of three lent money to Sabda Ahessa amounting to 396,150,000 Rupiah for house renovation in the Kemang area, South Jakarta.
Unfortunately, after Wulan and Sabda Ahessa ended their relationship, he never paid his debt. Finally, Wulan chose to bring the issue to the legal realm.
Quoted from SiPP South Jakarta District Court, there are several claims points that Wulan filed against her ex-lover. Namely, regarding the debt that has not been paid yet.
"Declares that the PLAINTIFF has provided a bail amounting to Rp396,150,000 (three hundred ninety-six million one hundred fifty thousand Rupiah) to the DEFENDANT for renovating the DEFENDANT's house located on Jalan Kemang Timur," Wulan's claim quoted from SiPP South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday (27/2/2024).
"Declares that the DEFENDANT has committed an unlawful act that obliges the DEFENDANT to return the bail amount to the PLAINTIFF with a value of Rp396,150,000 (three hundred ninety-six million one hundred fifty thousand Rupiah)."
Not only that, Wulan also asked Sabda Ahessa to pay compensation in a large amount, which is Rp 100 million rupiah.
"Punish and order the DEFENDANT to pay compensation to the PLAINTIFF in the amount of Rp 100,000,000 (one hundred million Rupiah)," reads the statement quoted from SiPP.
If the verdict has been read and the judge grants the lawsuit, Wulan also does not tolerate if Sabda Ahessa is late in paying his obligations. For each day of delay, Sabda Ahessa must pay Rp 10 million.
"Punish and order the DEFENDANT to make Forced Payment (Dwangsom) in the amount of Rp 10,000,000 (ten million Rupiah) for each day of delay in implementing the contents of the Decision in the a quo Case," reads the statement from SIPP.
The case was tried on Thursday, February 22nd. Unfortunately, Sabda Ahessa did not attend the trial, so the session was postponed and will be held again on February 29th, 2024.
If Sabda Ahessa does not attend the trial again, the judge can directly make a default judgment on the civil lawsuit filed by Wulan Guritno.
The first trial has been held at the South Jakarta District Court last Thursday.
