The musician and frontman of the band Dewa 19, Ahmad Dhani, is filled with an extraordinary sense of happiness. This happiness comes from the news of his son-in-law's pregnancy, Alyssa Daguise, who is the wife of his eldest son, Al Ghazali.
Currently, Al and Alyssa are awaiting the birth of their first child, who will be the first grandchild for Dhani. Al's child will also be the first grandchild in Alyssa Daguise's family.

Ahmad Dhani's enthusiasm in welcoming the arrival of this new family member is evident from his rather unique preparations. He has actually thought carefully about the endearing names that will be used by his grandchild for him and also for his wife, Mulan Jameela.
Not wanting to appear old, Dhani chose names that are far from the typical impression of a grandfather. "I have prepared a name from my grandchild for me. So if I’m Kiki, Mulan will be Nini," said Ahmad Dhani in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Friday (19/12/2025).
The choice of the names "Kiki" and "Nini" is acknowledged by Dhani as one way to avoid feeling old. The father of Al, El, and Dul jokingly stated that these names are his effort to remain looking youthful even though his status will change to that of a grandfather in the future."So it doesn’t feel old. Rejecting old age," said Ahmad Dhani.
Regarding his role and attitude as a grandfather, Dhani admitted that he does not have any grand plans. He prefers to let everything unfold naturally with the birth of the baby.
Dhani is also reluctant to comment on how protective he will be in caring for and pampering his first grandchild. "We'll talk about it after the baby is born. After the birth, we can discuss it again," said Dhani.
Currently, Alyssa Daguise's pregnancy is reported to have entered the fourth or fifth month. As Alyssa's belly grows, news has emerged that the extended family of Ahmad Dhani will soon hold a thanksgiving event.
However, when asked about the details of the plan, Dhani chose to keep it a secret from the public. "There is (a celebration plan), but it's a secret," said Dhani.
