For ska music fans, the name Hendro Sunyoto is certainly no stranger. The former drummer of the band Tipe X was one of the musicians widely recognized in his era.
Hendro, who co-founded the band Tipe X along with Trisno and friends, took his last breath on Thursday, (18/12) yesterday. There isn't much information about the personal life of this drummer, including the lack of publicly available information regarding his birth date.

Hendro Sunyoto is one of the founders of the band Tipe X, established in 1992. He founded the ska band along with Tresno, Micky, Yoss, Andi, and their friends. At that time, the ska band was named Headmaster.
Hendro Sunyoto's birth date has rarely been published to the public. When announcing his death on Thursday, (18/12) yesterday, the family and management of Tipe X did not disclose Hendro's age at the time of his passing.
About three days before his death, Hendro uploaded an old photo of himself with Tipe X. He seemed to be reminiscing about his happy times with the band that he had helped make famous.
Hendro decided to leave Tipe X in 1992. After ten years together, Hendro admitted that he felt he had to leave the band because he was continuously bringing negative energy to his friends. Although he was initially dissuaded by his bandmates, Hendro ultimately decided to leave Tipe X. He was then replaced by Aditya Pratama.
In an interview with Bahaya Records recorded in 2016, Hendro mentioned that he experienced depression because his music career was not approved by his wife. "My wife is still young, her way of thinking. She doesn't quite understand the situation. In the end, I became, like, depressed. That's why I asked the kids to step back," said Hendro.
Hendro worked on two albums with Tipe X. He contributed to the album SKA Phobia released in 1999 and Mereka Tak Pernah Mengerti released in 2001. After that, Hendro left and did not continue his music career.
