Ahmad Dhani Officially Reports Instagram Hacker Related to Illegal Access

"Report on hacking or illegal access. Indeed, yesterday, Mr. Dhani's account was hacked," said Aldwin Rahadian when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday (07/05/2026).

Aldwin explained that this report is a follow-up to the information about the hacking that occurred the previous Wednesday morning. He expressed concern because in a short time, the hacker managed to deceive several of Dhani's followers. Law enforcement is considered the only way to clear his client's name, which has been dragged into a fraud case.

In the report, the reporting party used Article 332 of the Criminal Code which regulates illegal access actions. Aldwin mentioned that the reference to this article has now been compiled in the new Criminal Code. They are no longer using the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE) as in previous cyber cases.

Ahmad Dhani's official report has been registered with the police under Number: LP/B/1816/V/2026/SPKT/POLRES METRO JAKSEL/POLDA METRO JAYA. This report is technically represented by one of the lawyer colleagues named Agung, who accompanies Aldwin. With this report number, the official investigation process by the authorities will soon begin.

The background of this issue has become increasingly serious because the hacker managed to breach an account with verified status or a blue checkmark. This raises concerns about the data security of public officials and prominent figures on social media. Aldwin also mentioned the need for serious attention from Meta and the central government.

Based on initial tracking results by the expert team, the hacker's position is suspected to be in the Eastern Indonesia region. However, Aldwin is reluctant to speculate about the complete profile of the perpetrator and fully entrusts it to the investigative team. He believes that this group consists of recidivists who have often carried out similar actions against other public figures.

Ahmad Dhani has also prepared a number of digital pieces of evidence to strengthen the report to the investigators. The evidence includes security warnings from official emails as well as records of the history of requests for account access changes. Dhani is scheduled to soon appear at the police station to undergo the Minutes of Examination (BAP) process.

Ahmad Dhani hopes that this legal action can provide protection for the public so that they are not easily tempted by suspicious offers. For the time being, the security of the musician's Instagram account is tightly monitored by the admin and his wife. Dhani is committed to continue overseeing this case until the hacker is successfully apprehended.
