Erin Denies Committing Abuse Against Former Maid

Kapanlagi.com - Rien Wartia Trigina, the ex-wife of Andre Taulany, firmly denies the allegations of abuse made by her former maid, Herawati. The accusations of hitting with a broom and kicking are described as baseless slander.

Erin claims to have CCTV recording evidence that will prove the incident never occurred. In her clarification, Erin pointed out that she is the party who feels harmed by the public opinion formed as a result of these allegations.

"It's not true at all. I have the evidence, I have the CCTV, I have the complaint chat to the foundation, and I have all the communication with the maid," Erin said when met in the Senayan area on Tuesday (5/5/2026).

1. Bring Physical Evidence

The legal representatives also brought physical evidence in the form of a mobile phone that was allegedly thrown by Erin. Based on the initial inspection, no damage corresponding to the narrative of the throwing was found, and they are ready to conduct fingerprint checks to prove it.

"There are no fingerprints of our client, let alone throwing. The condition is not as alleged by this person and the housekeeper. It was said to be broken from being thrown," said Sunan Kalijaga.

2. Erin Challenges the Reporting Party 

Erin challenges the reporting party to prove the allegations of physical violence as described on social media. She finds it strange that until now the medical report that is claimed to exist has not yet been received by the police.

"I can prove 100% (it's not true). They said she has already done the medical examination, but strangely the police said they have not received the medical report, that's why
we are following the legal process. I will prove it firmly, I have evidence, the entire house has 14 videos," said Erin Taulany.

3. Emphasize Facts Over Opinions

Sunan Kalijaga then stated that all statements from the reported party actually contradict the existing facts. This renowned lawyer emphasized that facts should be prioritized over mere opinions.

"What has caused the uproar is that they say the report's statements are incorrect; the statements actually contradict what has been presented as evidence by our client based on facts. So if the law speaks, it speaks of facts, not opinions," asserted Sunan Kalijaga.

4. Delve into Counter Legal Efforts

Another attorney, Erik, added that the accusation regarding the knife threat is a fictional story. His party is currently reviewing counter legal efforts because
they consider the report to be merely an opinion not based on existing facts.

5. Physical Violence

Hera, the former assistant of Erin, underwent an investigator's examination to provide testimony regarding her report at the South Jakarta Police on Monday (4/5/2026). In a press conference to journalists, Hera mentioned the violence committed by Erin against her.

Hera revealed that the incident occurred on April 28 at around 3:00 PM WIB. The trigger was said to be very trivial, merely due to an issue with the curtain and the bathroom door that had not been closed. This made her employer extremely angry and led to physical actions.

The physical violence began when Erin approached Hera on the second floor. According to Hera's confession, her employer immediately snatched the broom she was holding and hit her on the head with it. This action was accompanied by harsh words that demeaned her as a worker.

"Well, I said, 'Yes Ma'am, I'm sorry Ma'am, I'll close it later Ma'am.' Then she took the broom I was holding. The broom was taken by her, and she hit my head with the handle," said Hera.

6. Not Just Once

Not just once, Hera admitted to receiving repeated blows to the back of her head. Even though she had apologized and pleaded for the violence to stop, she continued to endure such treatment. This incident left a deep trauma for Hera, who had just been working for less than a month.

"Then she cursed at me. 'You work carelessly, you're stupid, you're an idiot,' she said. 'You can't work, can you?' she said. 'I'm sorry, Ma'am, but please don't hit me, Ma'am,' I said, 'no violence, Ma'am, it hurts,' I told her. Then Ma'am Erin said, 'Well, that's because your work is stupid.' Then she took that broom again, swung it, and hit me again," said Hera.

7. Salary Not Paid, Personal Items Held

Not only that, until now Hera claimed she still does not have access to her personal belongings. Several important items such as her Identity Card (KTP) and mobile phone are still said to be in the possession of Andre Taulany's ex-wife.

"My phone, my clothes are still there, along with my KTP, and my salary hasn't been given until now," said Hera.

The representative from the distributing foundation assisting Hera, Nia, confirmed the seizure of these items. Nia stated that she had tried to come politely to pick up her worker and settle administrative matters, but instead faced unpleasant treatment and was expelled from the location.
