Unpleasant news comes from legendary musician Ahmad Dhani Prasetyo. The official Instagram account of the frontman of the band Dewa 19 has just been targeted by irresponsible hackers. Instead of posting about musical activities, the account has been misused to carry out a scam involving the sale of gold and gadgets at low prices.

Ahmad Dhani's legal counsel, Aldwin Rahadian, revealed that this illegal action has victimized followers of the husband of Mulan Jameela. The victims were lured by promises of cheap gold investments posted by the perpetrators while the account was still under the hackers' control. So far, several accounts have reported material losses to Dhani's party.

"So through his IG account, Mr. Ahmad Dhani, there was a scam, yes, by criminals, by hackers, which resulted in losses. There are victims, and it turns out there are several," said Aldwin Rahadian when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday (07/05/2026).

Aldwin explained that the total losses experienced by the victims are quite fantastic. From the reports that have reached his desk, there are three accounts that have transferred money to the hacker in varying amounts. This has become a serious concern because the big name of Ahmad Dhani is being exploited for criminal activities.

"Well, the new information is that it was mentioned the total is 60 million, if I'm not mistaken. So, 40, 20, and the last one I forgot. I'm worried I might be wrong, but there are 3 people," he added.

The background of this issue began when the account @ahmaddhaniofficial was hacked on Wednesday morning around 06:00 WIB. The perpetrator uploaded offers for Antam gold and the iPhone 17 Pro Max at prices far below the market. Because the account status was already verified, the followers did not suspect anything until they were ultimately deceived.

Ahmad Dhani himself admitted to being very concerned about the incidents affecting his fans. As a form of moral responsibility, he immediately coordinated with his legal team to bring this case to the police. He does not want the public to continue being victims of fraud in his name.

Although the account has now been successfully restored, legal proceedings are still ongoing. Aldwin advised that the victims also file official reports so that the police can follow up on the flow of funds that have been sent.
