Alhamdulillah! Ayu Ting Ting and KD Make Peace, Withdraw Each Other's Reports

Kapanlagi.com - The issue between Ayu Ting Ting and Kartika Damayanti alias KD's family has found a solution. After discussing with their respective legal representatives, both parties have decided to withdraw their police reports.

In addition to withdrawing the reports from the Bojonegoro Police, KD's parents' legal representative, Pitra Romadhoni, also withdrew their complaint from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI). The complaint was filed because KD's 12-year-old child experienced trauma when Ayu's parents came to their house in Bojonegoro.

"Today's agenda is to respond to the withdrawal of reports made by Ayu Ting Ting regarding legal issues at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. We have officially withdrawn the report at the Bojonegoro Police yesterday, and today we withdraw the complaint at KPAI," said Pitra when met by KapanLagi.com at the KPAI office in Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, on Friday (25/3/2021).

1. Don't Want Any Obstacles Ahead of Ramadan

Pitra Romadhoni said that he appreciates the steps taken by Ayu Ting Ting to reconcile. Considering that Ramadan is coming soon, it will be difficult if there are still unresolved problems.

"We appreciate the action taken by Ayu Ting Ting in responding to this issue in terms of being willing to discuss it with family and peace. Considering that it is almost the month of fasting, we do not want the holy month to have any obstacles and grudges against someone," said Pitra.

2. Ayu is in the Process of Withdrawing the Report at the Police Station

KD's parents' report at Bojonegoro Police Station was officially withdrawn on Thursday (24/3/2022). This withdrawal was done because they are already old and sick, so they feel it is not necessary to extend it. On the same day, Ayu Ting Ting's party also processed the withdrawal of the report.

"Yesterday, Ayu and I went to the Metro Police to process the withdrawal of the report. That's because each of the legal representatives has communicated," said Sandy Arifin, Ayu's legal representative, who was met separately.

3. Chronology of Events

This mutual reporting action began when KD, the owner of the Gundik Empang Instagram account, was allegedly issuing hate speech against Ayu Ting Ting and Bilqis on social media. This prompted the parents of the singer, Abdul Rozak and Umi Kalsum, to come all the way from Depok to Bojonegoro to confront him.

As it turned out, the person they were looking for worked as a domestic worker, and Abdul Rozak and Umi Kalsum were said to have vented their frustration on KD's parents, named Madi and Suwarning.

Deliberately going to the home of their child's haters resulted in a report from KD's parents to the Bojonegoro Police in September 2021. A month later, KD's parents reported the incident to the Indonesian Child Protection Commission after their child experienced trauma.

Meanwhile, Ayu, along with her lawyer, Minola Sebayang, reported KD to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police on October 26, 2021. The singer made a report under the charge of defamation.
