Alipjon Opens Solo Exhibition at spaCCCe Jakarta, Involving Plastic Band and Black Horses Performing Acoustic

Kapanlagi.com - Alipjon once again captures attention with his latest breakthrough in the world of contemporary visual arts. This time, the young artist presents a solo exhibition titled "PAWN STRIP" at spaCCCe Jakarta, Ruko Grand Wijaya, South Jakarta from June 27 to July 13, 2025.

This exhibition serves as a deep and honest exploration of Alipjon's personal and social perspectives, packaged through his distinctive visual language.

"PAWN STRIP is not just an exhibition but a visual provocation that invites the audience to question, feel, and perhaps re-examine everyday reality," said Sir Dandy, representing the organizing party of spaCCCe Jakarta.

The exhibition opened festively with the presence of many figures from various creative fields. They contributed energy to the growing independent art movement in Jakarta.

1. Artist Talk

"Be skilled at entertaining yourself because pure spirit does not know reciprocation. Honest spirit does not actually expect anything in return. Stand alone. When your spirit has been bought, seek your mover, your spirit that is selfless," wrote Anton Ismael in his personal impression after viewing Alipjon's works.

For those who are curious, this exhibition is not just about paintings or installations. Alipjon also created an artist talk session on the opening day, June 27, 2025, to share stories about his creative process.

"PAWN STRIP is largely about questions that arise from everyday things. I want to make people stop for a moment and think," said Alipjon during his talk session.

The highlight of the closing event is scheduled to be festive with acoustic performances from the bands Seperti Plastik and Black Horses. The presence of these two bands serves as a fitting bridge between the world of visual arts and alternative music.

"I'm really happy to be a part of this event. Music and visual arts always intersect in my opinion," said Ipang Lazuardi, the vocalist of the band Plastik.

Not only that, spaCCCe also offers many fun activities throughout the exhibition. There will be a launch of jewelry in collaboration with Alipjon and Studio Mesin on July 2, an interactive workshop with Alipjon himself on July 11, and even unique merchandise sales through automated machines at the location.

To make it even more lively, spaCCCe along with signaturetime.id is also holding an exclusive giveaway for visitors who attend. This step is a way to invite the public to get closer to contemporary art.

"We believe that art is not elitist. Everyone can enjoy it, even be a part of it," said Sir Dandy again.
