Altaf Vicko and Syahnaz Anindya Filed for Divorce Against Each Other Before Domestic Violence Allegations Arise, But Everything Was Dismissed

Kapanlagi.com - Presenter Altaf Vicko and his wife, Syahnaz Anindya, had previously filed for divorce against each other at the Central Jakarta Religious Court. This lawsuit even occurred before the allegations of domestic violence (KDRT) surfaced to the public.

The spokesperson for the Central Jakarta Religious Court, Jajat Sudrajat, revealed that Syahnaz Anindya first filed for divorce in 2023. This lawsuit was filed under case number 874, but was ultimately dismissed by the Central Jakarta Religious Court.

"I might explain this, although actually the initial SA (Syahnaz Anindya) had already filed in 2023, under case number 874, it has been decided, dismissed by the Central Jakarta Religious Court," said Jajat Sudrajat in his office, Wednesday (21/8/2024).

1. Had a Chance to Appeal

Syahnaz had a chance to appeal, but her appeal was only upheld by the Religious Court. Unsatisfied with that result, Syahnaz then filed a cassation to the Supreme Court, but her cassation was also rejected.

"Then SA appealed, and her appeal was upheld by the Jakarta religious court, then SA filed a cassation to the Supreme Court, but her cassation was also rejected," said Jajat Sudrajat.

2. Altaf Vicko Files for Divorce Again

Not long after Syahnaz's divorce petition was dismissed, Altaf Vicko took a similar step. In the same year, Altaf filed for divorce against Syahnaz with case number 1089.

"Then still in the year 2023, it was actually her husband with the initials AV (Altaf Vicko) who filed against what is her name SA. The number is 1089," he explained.

3. Both Lawsuits Face Obstacles

Unfortunately, the lawsuit also faced obstacles because the address of the respondent, namely Syahnaz, was unclear. As a result, the Central Jakarta Religious Court rejected the lawsuit with a Niet Ontvankelijke Verklaard (NO) decision, which means the lawsuit is not admissible.

"However, it was declared NO (Niet Ontvankelijke) by the Central Jakarta Religious Court because the address of the respondent or SA was unclear," said Jajat Sudrajat.

4. Divorce Lawsuit Dismissed by Religious Court

Not stopping there, in April 2024, Syahnaz refiled a divorce lawsuit against Altaf at the Central Jakarta Religious Court. This time, the lawsuit was registered with case number 349. However, this lawsuit was again dismissed by the Religious Court because Syahnaz did not attend two court sessions.

"Then this year, in 2024 in April, the initial SA filed a lawsuit AP, yes, it was already under case number 349. However, this was also dismissed because SA did not attend twice," he said.

5. Several Times Occurred

Although there have been several divorce lawsuits filed, Jajat Sudrajat emphasized that there is no detailed explanation regarding the reasons both parties filed the lawsuits.

"Well, this is because the case is already in the past, so I haven't traced it back to that point. So I don't know what the problem is. The first one was in 2023, there were two times, up to the last one in April 2020, I don't know what the problem is," he concluded.
