Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic, Teddy Still Holds a 100-Day Tahlilan for the Late Lina Jubaedah

Kapanlagi.com - The late Lina Jubaedah's husband, Teddy Pardiyana, admitted that he is not afraid of contracting the COVID-19 virus when holding a tahlilan or a prayer for the 100th day since his wife's passing. He always remembers the late wife's message, which makes him unafraid of death.

"There is nothing to fear anymore. After the late wife passed away, God willing, I am ready anytime if it is destined. The late wife once said, 'Now we are on earth, tomorrow the earth will be above us, we must be prepared for the afterlife'," said Teddy Pardiyana when contacted via text message on Monday night (13/4).

1. Attended only by Family

Previously, on Sunday, April 12, 2020, Teddy held a 100-day tahlilan for the late Lina Jubaedah. Teddy admitted that this tahlilan was only attended by close family members.

"There was (a 100-day tahlilan for Lina), only attended by family members and at home. The siblings and nephews attended the tahlilan," said Teddy.

2. Had a Pilgrimage

In addition, Teddy always made time to visit Lina Jubaedah's grave on Thursday, April 9, 2020. He felt that he couldn't forget his late wife Lina Jubaedah because he always remembered her kindness.

"Yesterday (during the tahlilan) and every night, we specifically recite prayers for the deceased wife. Then on Friday night, we went on a pilgrimage. Good people are hard to forget," he said.

Lina Jubaedah passed away on January 4, 2020, and her sudden death shocked many people. According to her husband, Lina suddenly fainted after performing the Fajr prayer. Although she was rushed to the hospital, unfortunately, the life of the former wife of comedian Sule could not be saved.
