Ammar Zoni Touches on Allegations of Extortion Through a Letter Before Going to Nusakambangan

As is known, Ammar Zoni was transferred to Nusakambangan after being involved in a drug case for the fourth time. He is suspected of being involved in a drug trafficking network within the Salemba Detention Center, which categorizes him as a high-risk inmate.

The letter was delivered by someone to Ustaz Derry's residence on Thursday (16/10/2025) morning, just moments before Ammar was sent off. This letter became the last message from the actor before facing isolation on the 'prison island'.

However, this letter is not just an ordinary outpouring of feelings. Ustaz Derry Sulaiman revealed that the letter contains a complete chronology of the case that ensnared Ammar, written in detail from the actor's perspective."The letter is 3 pages long, back and forth, it contains all the chronology, poor thing," he said when contacted by the media on Friday (17/10/2025).

Moreover, Ustaz Derry emphasized that this detailed chronology was intentionally written for legal purposes. The letter will be submitted to Ammar Zoni's legal team to be used as defense material in court.

According to him, there are several points in the letter that are very sensitive and have the potential to reveal new facts in court, including allegations of extortion."Let the lawyer read it in court during the hearing because there are several very sensitive points about extortion and so on," he revealed.

For now, Ustaz Derry has chosen not to disclose further details of the letter in order to respect the legal process that will take place. He fully entrusts the legal team to reveal the truth in front of the court.

Nevertheless, Ustaz Derry hinted at his readiness to speak more in-depth at the right time, indicating that there are still many facts that have not been revealed to the public. "God willing, I will let you know, I am still busy with activities now," he concluded.
