Former actor Ammar Zoni is back in court for a follow-up hearing regarding allegations of drug trafficking, with a different appearance.
Appearing with a bald head, Ammar attended the trial virtually from the Nusakambangan Correctional Facility, at the Central Jakarta District Court, on Thursday (11/6/2025).

In the trial that was broadcasted on a monitor in the courtroom, Ammar Zoni was seen wearing an orange prisoner uniform. His new appearance with a bald head immediately attracted attention, differing from his previous image.
He sat with other defendants following the agenda of reading the exception or objection note against the prosecutor's charges.
On that occasion, Ammar Zoni clearly expressed his complaints to the panel of judges. He requested that the trial be held face-to-face or offline.Â
The main reason is the conditions in the Nusakambangan prison, which he believes are very strict and limit his ability to prepare his defense.
"Here the SOP is super maximal, we walk with our hands and feet shackled, even our faces are covered," said Ammar Zoni in court.
Not only about strict security procedures, Ammar Zoni also complained about the difficulty of preparing his defense material. He admitted that he did not have adequate access to things like paper and a pen to write down his personal exceptions.
"How can we talk about exceptions?" asked Ammar. Due to various obstacles, Ammar Zoni along with other defendants collectively requested a postponement of the reading of the exceptions that had been prepared by their legal advisory team.
