Actor Ammar Zoni has changed a lot since returning to being a prisoner due to drug abuse and divorcing Irish Bella. The father of two now sports a long beard and a visibly fuller body.

According to Jon Mathias, Ammar Zoni's lawyer, his client intentionally grew his beard. The reason is because Ammar Zoni deepened his knowledge of religion and worship while in detention.
"If I analyze it, from what I often see when visiting the police, 80 percent of his time was spent on worship, based on what I observed." said Jon Mathias when contacted by the media on Tuesday (16/4/2024). Â
"I also asked him, 'why is your beard so long?'. He said, 'Well, it's called sufi'. If that's his belief, then it's a form of worship," Jon added. Â
Regarding Ammar's weight, Jon said that there has been a slight decrease. However, it is still within a reasonable limit and not a significant decrease. Â
"It weighs about 90, it has decreased. Ammar's height is almost 190, minus 100, weight in the 90s, right, balanced like that," explained Jon.
As is known, the case of alleged drug abuse, with suspect Ammar Zoni, has entered a new phase.
The case file has been declared complete or P21 by the court.
Ammar Zoni, who was initially detained at the West Jakarta Metro Police detention center, has now been transferred to the Salemba detention center in Central Jakarta. Ammar Zoni is currently awaiting trial at the West Jakarta District Court.
