Putry Poyz spent her Eid holiday from April 9th to 16th, 2024. She decided to return home earlier due to work schedule.
Putry Poyz also mentioned that she had a strange intuition when the city where Burj Khalifa is located was hit by unusual rain.
"Want to go back quickly because there is work, but it's strange when I got out of the taxi to the airport, it was raining heavily," said Putry when contacted on Thursday (18/4).
"It should have taken off at 3.25, but it hasn't taken off until 4. Dubai is rarely not on time," she added.
Putry safely landed in Jakarta, and she realized that the incident in Dubai was a major disaster. The owner of 315 thousand followers on Instagram expressed gratitude and surprise upon seeing the latest news stating that there was flooding in almost all of Dubai.
"Lucky and shocked, if I didn't go back that day, I might not be able to go back, because there was flooding everywhere," she said.
"My friend in Dubai, his house was flooded, traffic was everywhere due to the flood. Buses and trains couldn't operate, it was indeed a shocking disaster, the worst in 75 years according to Dubai locals," she concluded.
Thankfully, Putry Poyz survived the catastrophic disaster in Dubai and returned safely to her homeland. Surely, this will be a story that will never be forgotten by Putry Poyz.
