Kapanlagi.com - Andre Taulany has once again filed for divorce from his wife, Rien Wartia Trigina or Erin Taulany. This request was made after a similar lawsuit he filed last year was rejected by the panel of judges. The spokesperson for the Tigaraksa Religious Court, Ummi Azma, confirmed that Andre has submitted a new case through the e-court system.
"For the case of Andre Taulany, he has submitted a new case which is regarding this divorce request," said Ummi Azma to reporters on Tuesday (6/5/2025).
The divorce application was registered electronically on April 9, 2025. Ummi mentioned that the legal process is currently underway according to the applicable procedures.
"So it was the husband who filed, so Andre Taulany filed by giving power of attorney to Ahmad Fauzi, SH against Rien Wartia Trigina who gave power of attorney to Yakub Putra Hasibuan SH, LLM," Ummi revealed.
This lawsuit registration has been officially recorded in the Tigaraksa Religious Court system. The registered case number indicates that this matter is still in the active legal process.
"This case has been registered electronically with the number 1673/PDTG/2025/PA Tigaraksa on April 9, 2025," he said.
Now, the divorce case of Andre and Erin has entered the mediation stage as part of the initial court proceedings. According to Ummi, both parties have attended the hearing in person to undergo the process.
"This matter has been mediated because both Andre and his wife were present at the hearing," said Ummi Azma.
This divorce petition is the second time Andre has filed against Erin since 2024. However, the first request he submitted did not yield results in court.
Previously, Andre filed for divorce from Erin in April 2024. The request was submitted via e-court with case number 1668/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Tgrs.
The first request was initially rejected by the panel of judges on the grounds that the lawsuit was not proven. The lack of evidence of the dispute was the main reason the divorce petition was denied.
Andre and Erin have been married for nearly two decades. They are known to have married at the end of 2005 and have been blessed with three children from the marriage.
