Andro Nidji Reveals Unfulfilled Promise to His Late Mother

The promise was made when his late mother suffered a heart attack after Eid al-Fitr. The 40-year-old man knew that his late mother had the spirit to recover from her illness.

"After that, April had a heart attack, when I was in the hospital, I encouraged her to recover and go for Umrah, but my mother just responded," he said.

As a child, Andro always accompanied his mother when she was still being treated in the hospital. That's why, even though he lost someone he loved very much, Andro is grateful because his mother is now no longer sick.

"It's really sad, you know, she couldn't move and had to use a ventilator, and she couldn't speak properly because of the ventilator. It was difficult for her to convey something, and sometimes when she was still conscious, she would ask, 'What does mom want to say?' (pointing) this is not it, not until she got angry with herself," Andro said.

"Finally, we gave her paper to indicate everything, but it kept coming back. Her body was weak, but her spirit was still strong, her mind was still strong, but it was not supported by her body," Andro added.

Andro himself admits that there are many beautiful memories that he has experienced with his mother. Moreover, his mother is the one who witnessed his success in the entertainment world that he pursued.

"There are many memories, starting from childhood, troublesome moments, until finally I can help, until I can't be a ghost and can help a lot of memories, every day moments with my mother," he concluded.

It is known that Andro's mother passed away at the age of 78, on Sunday (12/5/2024) in a hospital. She passed away due to a heart disease she suffered from.
