Angie Ang Breaks Up, Ex-Boyfriend Is Ready to Propose to Another Woman

"I want to have a family. If the concept is just getting married, that’s only for one day. If it’s to become a family, that’s once in a lifetime and long-term," said Angie at Plaza Indonesia, Central Jakarta, Thursday (17/10/2024).

Angie then revealed specific criteria for her potential partner. First of all, she emphasized the importance of having the same beliefs.

"The first thing is definitely to have the same faith. The rest, I hope that from work we can meet both of our needs and desires," she said.

2. Equality in Relationships

She also desires an equal relationship, where both parties can support and understand each other.

"If we have partners who are equal in any perspective, it can trigger reactions. That way, equality in various aspects can minimize conflicts," she said.

3. Still Looking for a Partner

Although Angie really wants to get married, she admits that finding the right partner is not an easy task.

"It just hasn’t come yet," said Angie.

4. Fear of Commitment

In her search, she also realized that her selective attitude might make it difficult for her to find her true love.

"I might be selective, but I have fears. I'm afraid of disappointing my parents; I don't want to disappoint them again," she said.

5. No Pressure from Parents

Nevertheless, Angie feels lucky because her parents do not pressure her to get married soon.

"Thank God, until now my parents have never asked when. My dad just said, 'Think about the future, okay?'" she said.

6. Ex-Boyfriend Getting Married

A while ago, Angie experienced a rather shocking breakup. Her ex-boyfriend, who had just broken up with her, immediately moved on to a new relationship and even intends to get married.

"Honestly, I was really shocked and very upset. We were dating all this time and then we broke up. Not long after breaking up, I heard news that he wants to get married soon, and will propose soon. What were you doing when you were with me? Why didn’t you ask me to marry you? That's how it is," she revealed, then laughed.
