Angie Ang Catches Her Boyfriend Cheating with Another Woman While Watching an Avenged Sevenfold Concert

"It has to be happy songs, I listen to Avenged Sevenfold's A Little Piece of Heaven. It just feels exciting to listen to songs that boost our spirit. If the heart says so, it can be taken to happiness," said Angie at Plaza Indonesia, Central Jakarta, Thursday (17/10/2024).

1. Has a Favorite Playlist

Angie also has a favorite playlist that always accompanies her when her feelings are all over the place. However, she reminds not to listen to love-themed songs. According to her, it will only worsen the mood.

"Also, avoid love songs because they will make you even more confused. I listened to Nadhif Basalamah's song, I cried dude. It's like 'this song is so beautiful'," said Angie, then laughed.

Besides songs from Avenged Sevenfold, Angie often listens to songs from The Script and Maroon 5. The old albums of both bands are Angie’s top choices when she feels down.

"Besides Sevenfold, I listen to The Script, then Maroon 5's old albums. That's about it," she said.

2. Catching a Cheating Boyfriend

However, there are moments when listening to music brings back unpleasant memories for Angie. Especially when listening to songs from Avenged Sevenfold, Angie admits that she always remembers the bitter incident when she caught her boyfriend cheating.

"When it comes to Avenged Sevenfold, it was the day they had a concert in Indonesia, the day I caught my boyfriend cheating. So I didn't go to the concert," she said, while laughing.

The incident left such a mark on Angie’s heart that every time she listens to a song from that band, she immediately recalls that painful event.

"So all the Sevenfold songs in my head now remind me of his cheating," Angie said.
