Arafah Rianti Speaks Out About the Breakup Issue with Steven Wongso

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Arafah Rianti speaks out about her relationship status with influencer Steven Wongso. Arafah stated that their relationship ended before Steven Wongso decided to convert to Islam. Although they are no longer close, communication between them is still going well.

"I mean, we didn't break up in a bad way. We still check in with each other, still communicate; he is in Surabaya, still likes to ask, 'What are you doing?', still (chatting)," said Arafah Rianti during the Rumpi: No Secret event on Trans TV, Monday (19/5/2025).

Furthermore, Arafah admitted she was shocked when she heard Steven Wongso's confession on Deddy Corbuzier's podcast. During their time together, Arafah and Steven Wongso were not in a romantic relationship.

"I was really surprised when he said we broke up. 'Wait, what was our relationship like?', you know? I wasn't even dating; people said it was really sad, really sad. Still, I am on good terms with him," Arafah said in her straightforward manner.

1. Relaxing About Matchmaking

Even though she is no longer a teenager, Arafah admits to being relaxed about matchmaking. She is very careful in choosing a partner.

"I'm really relaxed. If it gets serious, I'm afraid that if I end up getting married, I might choose the wrong guy. I don't know why I haven't found a guy that clicks. It seems fun to go on a road trip with him, to have fun together," she explained.

"I never hate guys. If we are still meant to be, we will keep meeting. No need to worry. Netizens say this is already an effort, should I really have to force it? That's his choice, why should I feel sorry for his effort? That's his own belief," concluded Arafah Rianti.
