Aris Idol's Contract is Terminated and Abandoned by Management When Involved in Drug Case

Kapanlagi.com - After more than a year in detention, Januarisman Runtuwene, also known as Aris Idol, was conditionally released from Cipinang Detention Center, East Jakarta. Aris can breathe fresh air again on Wednesday (15/4) after meeting the assimilation requirements issued by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

Although he is happy to finally be able to reunite with his family, Aris is now facing a new problem. The 35-year-old man is currently lacking job opportunities, especially since the situation in Indonesia is very unfavorable due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"There are no jobs yet, the conditions are still like this, so I'm confused and just following the government's instructions. They told us to lockdown, so we have to stay at home until this pandemic ends," said Aris when contacted on Friday (17/4/2020).

Aris plans to create a Youtube channel with music content. However, currently his intention is hindered by the lack of capital, considering that he also needs to buy musical equipment to use.

Currently, Aris is not bound by any label or management contract. He frankly admitted that his contract was terminated when he was arrested by the police in January 2019.

"It's over, last time when I was in prison, I was abandoned (by management), it stopped because I was in prison, the contract ended. So now there is none," Aris concluded.
