Aryani Fitriana successfully convinced her husband, Donny Michael, to undertake their first Umrah together with family. In an interview on the show Rumpi No Secret, Aryani revealed that initially Donny felt hesitant and didn't want to go. Read more below!
Aryani Fitriana's husband had concerns due to various stories he heard about Umrah experiences from friends. However, after discussing it, Donny eventually agreed to join this spiritual journey.
"This is the first moment I performed Umrah with my husband. Previously, my husband didn't want to go because he was still unsure, afraid because there were so many stories from friends about how Umrah is like," she said while appearing on Rumpi No Secret, which was viewed on YouTube Trans TV, Thursday (23/1/2025).
"He once said, 'I'm not going, you go alone.' I said, 'That's mean, I have to take care of the kids myself.' Thank God at the last moment he agreed," she continued.
Aryani stated that Umrah brings profound happiness that cannot be expressed in words. She feels relieved to have fulfilled her longing for the Holy Land and is grateful to be able to worship together with her husband and their children.
Aryani also highlights Donny's nature of always thinking about others, sometimes to the point of forgetting his own happiness. She reminds her husband to pay more attention to his own happiness.
"Donny is really kind, he is someone who always thinks about others, that’s why I sometimes like to tell him not to think about others, but to make himself happy first. He can’t help it, he always thinks about other people, he’s generous too, but there are many cases where he gets taken advantage of by others," she said.
