Ashanty and Anang Hermansyah Perform Hajj on Their 15th Anniversary

The 41-year-old singer feels very grateful for this extraordinary opportunity. Ashanty even considers this sacred departure as a honeymoon moment that is much more meaningful than usual.

"With my husband, of course. This is a honeymoon that is truly amazing," said Ashanty in the Cinere area, West Java, on Friday (15/5/2026).

Anang Hermansyah's wife admitted that she still cannot believe they can celebrate their wedding anniversary in the house of Allah. She feels that this journey brings an additional sacred happiness to their household.

"15 years, masya Allah. So we are really very special this time because we can celebrate our wedding anniversary by going on pilgrimage. That is just, oh masya Allah, such an addition," she said.

Remembering that this trip is only for the two of them without the presence of their children, Ashanty began to prepare mentally. She specifically asked her 57-year-old husband to be more patient during worship.

"So I told him earlier, we don’t have any arguments every day actually. Later there, just be patient with yourself, okay?" Ashanty said.

It turns out, this couple also received unique advice from their children and in-laws, Aurel Hermansyah and Atta Halilintar. The children reminded them that small temptations while performing worship together will always arise.

"It's just the two of us here, because the temptations earlier, Brother Atta and Aurel said, 'Mom, oh, the problems of husband and wife will definitely be there.' Because when we are together, the suitcase and other things will be many, so we need to keep asking for forgiveness, and I don't want there to be even a slight misunderstanding. So he has to understand, or I, on the other hand, have to understand," she said.

Ashanty is determined to understand each other in order to maintain the solemnity of their upcoming pilgrimage. She does not want technical matters like suitcase issues to disturb their peace of mind while they are there.

Emotional feelings have enveloped the heart of the stepmother of Azriel Hermansyah long before the departure day arrives. She admitted that she often feels sad and touched every time she imagines standing right in front of the Ka'bah.

"Oh yes, of course, this is being called by Allah to the house of Allah. Called by Allah in this world, to His house. And really, oh, the feeling is that even before departing, I already feel like crying, emotional, and then I think, I have already noted my prayers for when I am there," said Ashanty.

This Jakarta-born artist has even prepared a special note containing the best prayers that will be offered. She considers this year's pilgrimage call as the most beautiful gift for their marriage, which has been going on for over a decade.
