Ashanty Ready to Fight for Her Father's Inherited Land, Allegedly a Victim of Double Certification

Ashanty explained that she is actually open to finding a solution if both parties are victims of a land seller in the past. However, this good intention seems to not receive a positive response.

"There are 4, which means there is still 1 other that is safe because we have taken care of it, it's just this one. And this one also means that if I have the same letter as this gentleman, if we have the same letter, we are, so to speak, in the same situation as the individual who sold us the land before, right? Many now have land with two letters, three letters," said Ashanty when met in Cinangka, Depok, Thursday (18/9/2025).

The wife of Anang Hermansyah regrets that disputes must be resolved in a way that harms one party. She prioritizes deliberation to find the best solution for both parties who have ownership evidence.

"I don't want it to be like, 'Oh this letter belongs to me, you can't get anything', no. Okay, if we both have the same letter, then let's find a solution, what should we do if we split it in half or how, that would be nice," she said.

3. The Opponent Just Takes Unilateral Steps

However, the peace efforts that have been made for years have not yielded results. The opponent has instead taken unilateral steps by selling the land, which has caused deep disappointment for Ashanty.

"We spent 2, 3 years, if I'm not mistaken. Starting from my stepfather who found it, to my siblings who met, 'come on, sir, what should we do?', but he kept saying later later, it was already sold just yesterday after years of holding out, and maybe he knew I was busy, like ah forget it. I will not remain silent," Ashanty explained.

Ashanty stated that she will continue to fight. For her, this is not just about material matters, but about fighting for the rights that have been inherited by her late father. She promised to take all possible measures to regain what should belong to her family.

"So hopefully, I just met with several people who I want to report and take care of because I will not be silent because that is our right too," she said

Ashanty also expressed her confusion regarding the payment status between other certificate holders and the developer. According to the seller's confession, he has only received a small down payment, yet the developer is already daring to carry out large-scale construction.

"At first, I didn’t want to be too harsh with him, because my dealings are with the father who sold it, but the father who sold it said he hasn’t been paid by this person, he has only been paid a very small down payment, so he is stressed, and now this developer, who I am disappointed in, is just building and building more, and I said, 'I will keep fighting because no matter what kind of housing you want to build, I will keep pursuing it'," she said.

Ashanty also highlighted how this case reflects on society, which may not have the same power as she does. If she herself is ignored, let alone ordinary people facing similar problems.

"I see it this way, there are media friends who helped blow up this news and they are also ignored by that person, let alone by powerless people, it's really heartbreaking to see," she concluded.

According to Ashanty, the developer should have already known about the issue of dual ownership before starting the project. This is because the developer's representatives had previously met with her to discuss this issue.
