Rich Brian, a rapper from Jakarta who went viral with Dat Stick. Since joining 88rising in 2015, the man whose real name is Brian Imanuel has been making waves with his debut album AMEN which entered the Billboard 200, as well as collaborations with world-class musicians.
Rich Brian's unique hip-hop style and sharp lyric-writing ability have earned him the title of a pioneer of the Southeast Asian hip-hop scene.
Not to be missed, Stephanie Poetri, daughter of diva Titi DJ, broke through with the single I Love You 3000 in 2019. This simple song went viral, topping the Spotify Global Viral chart, and caught the attention of music lovers worldwide.
Stephanie then continued her success by releasing an EP themed day and night, AM:PM, and won the award for Best New Asian Artist at the MNET Asian Music Awards 2019.
