Nathalie Holscher is currently the talk of the town due to the donations she received while performing in Sidrap, South Sulawesi. In one night, she received hundreds of millions of rupiah in donations, not including her performance fee there.

However, the viral moment on social media immediately drew reactions from the local government. The Regent of Sidrap, Syaharuddin Alrif, stated that the act contradicted the religious vision of his administration. He also asked Nathalie to apologize to the people of Sidrap.

However, Nathalie Holscher firmly rejected the demand. She stated that her presence in Sidrap was solely to fulfill a job invitation as a DJ.

Nathalie Holscher performed at a nightlife venue in Sidenreng Rappang (Sidrap), South Sulawesi, on Saturday (4/12/2025). Nathalie's performance drew the attention of netizens as the money she received was reported to reach hundreds of millions.

Throughout her DJ set, Nathalie received money from the audience. Cash was continuously thrown by the entertained spectators during Nathalie's DJ performance.

After the performance, Nathalie posed with the money she received. There was so much that she could lie on top of the cash, which totaled Rp150 million!

On Thursday (4/17/2025), hundreds of people consisting of students and the Muhammadiyah Islamic organization staged a protest in front of the Sidrap DPRD Office. They demanded that the government close illegal nightlife venues, including the location where Nathalie performed.

Responding to the controversy, Sidrap Regent Syaharuddin Alrif expressed his concern and regret over the incident. He emphasized that the performance that took place was very much against the region's vision that prioritizes religious values.

"I have directly conveyed to Nathalie Holscher to apologize to the people of Sidrap," said Syaharuddin. The Sidrap Regent also stated that they would summon the owner of the nightlife venue for various inspections.

Through her social media account, Nathalie Holscher refused to apologize for her performance. The former wife of Sule clarified that her presence in Sidrap was solely due to work.

"If there really shouldn't be a nightclub, then it should be the club that is closed, not me who is blamed," said Nathalie. She feels unfairly treated because other DJs have performed and received tips in Sidrap before without causing similar controversy.

Nathalie Holscher admitted to feeling sad, confused, and disappointed because she feels she hasn't done anything wrong in her profession as a DJ. "If it's really needed for promotion, I'm ready. But in this case, I just came to work professionally," she explained.

For your information, Sidrap is a city in the South Sulawesi region, officially named Sidenreng Rappang. The journey to Sidrap is quite long; from Jakarta, you have to go to Makassar first before heading to Sidrap. However, all of that is sweetly compensated by the many tips Nathalie received.
