Content Creator Arif Muhammad Falls Ill During Umrah, His Words Said to Become Reality

Kapanlagi.com - Content creator and influencer Arif Muhammad has recently attracted public attention. This is because he fell ill while in the Holy Land. This was revealed from his Instagram post on April 9, 2025.

Arif was seen lying on a hospital bed with an IV in his hand. He admitted that he had already felt unwell while still in Medina.

"Let me tell a little about being sick in Makkah. So actually from Medina, my throat already felt sore, but because my desire was greater than my faith, I ended up not being careful with food, devouring all the spicy and oily food, and on top of that, in the hot weather, I kept drinking iced drinks and smoking, it just made it worse," wrote Arif.

1. A Warning from God

"But honestly, this is the first time I’ve felt pain like this, it’s really unbearable, my head is pounding heavily, my body is hot and cold, my whole body is shaking, shivering to the point of my teeth chattering, my breath is short, my heart is racing, my throat is burning, even to talk there’s no sound, swallowing is so painful, especially when coughing, ugh!! it feels like a wound with salt, it stings," he continued.

Furthermore, Arif feels that God is indeed warning him for his mistakes or bad behavior during his time in the Holy Land.

"Indeed, Masya Allah, the pain is real, but Alhamdulillah, Allah gave me this pain during Umrah, maybe it’s a warning for me, perhaps there’s something wrong I said or a bad behavior during my time in the Haram, or Allah gave me this extraordinary pain to erase the sins I have committed, wallahualam," Arif expressed.

2. Searching for the Qibla Direction

Netizens immediately highlighted Arif's previous post. In that post, Arif joked about searching for the Qibla direction in the hotel where he was staying in Makkah. He looked for the Qibla direction in the closet and drawers but couldn’t find it.

He also joked about what would happen if he got sick and had to pray in the hotel room but there was no Qibla direction. In fact, the hotel was located right in front of the Masjidil Haram. From the window of Arif's hotel room, the Ka'bah, which is the Qibla for Muslims around the world, was clearly visible.
