The tahlilan event for the seven-day commemoration of Titiek Puspa, the Indonesian music legend, took place at the PTIK Building in South Jakarta on Thursday (17/4/2025). The event was attended by various groups who expressed their love and support for the deceased and the family left behind.

Petty Tunjungsari, the daughter of Titiek Puspa, admitted that she is still astonished by the outpouring of love from various circles. She sees it as a form of reward for the kindnesses Titiek had shown during her life.

"I often have dialogues with my late mother, 'Mom, what kind of heavenly seeds did you plant so that we, your children and grandchildren, are now reaping a tsunami of love from everyone who loves us?" he expressed with deep emotion.

He also conveyed his profound gratitude to several figures who assisted in the implementation of the tahlilan event. Some of them come from the ranks of celebrities and musicians in the country.

Petty specifically mentioned names such as Indrawati Wijaya alias Acin Musica Studios, Inul Daratista, Camelia Malik, and Ivan Gunawan as those who provided full support for the prayer gathering.

The presence of Ustaz Das'ad Latif and his family further enhanced the solemnity of the prayer gathering.

As a fellow singer, Kris Dayanti holds many memories with the late Titiek Puspa. She feels grateful for the opportunity to continue the legacy and dreams of the maestro in the world of art

All invited guests wore white attire as the dress code according to the invitation given by the family. As is known, white symbolizes purity.

Afgansyah Reza stated that the late Titiek Puspa was always present in his career journey. From the beginning of his career until the last moments, Titiek Puspa never stopped paying attention. "She was always there in my career journey from the beginning until the end of her life, she still liked to call me," he said.
