Paula Verhoeven speaks out again about her divorce process with Baim Wong, which is still a public concern. When met at the Judicial Commission in Central Jakarta on Thursday (17/4/2025), Paula revealed shocking facts related to a man named Niko, who was rumored to be her affair. "Actually, I already did. Initially, we agreed to be friends from their side. But I also don't know what the reason was for suddenly backing out to be a witness," said Paula.
Niko is mentioned as the man linked to the allegations of infidelity in Paula and Baim's marriage. However, his presence as a witness did not occur, and this is considered by Paula to have a significant impact on the trial process. "Because this affects not only me but also his family," said Paula.
Despite facing various speculations and obstacles, Paula admitted to gaining many valuable lessons from her divorce case. She chose to surrender to God and maintain her principles.
"In this divorce case, I have learned a lot. I do not depend on humans; God willing, as a human, I continue to learn to be better," she stated.
Paula also emphasized that from the beginning she has made every effort, followed all procedures, and provided statements according to the facts. "Here I have tried, but the results I leave to God," said Paula.
She hopes the public will not immediately swallow the circulating issues and will look at it from her perspective as a mother who wants to protect her children. "I just ask for justice for the children," she asserted firmly.
Despite the accusations of infidelity haunting her, Paula remains strong in facing this process for the future of her children. "What is certain is that I will continue to fight for them," she concluded.
