Model and actress Paula Verhoeven has once again spoken out about the infidelity accusations during her divorce process with Baim Wong. She emphasized that she has never done what she is accused of, and is even ready to be accountable for everything before God. Here is Paula Verhoeven's clarification regarding the infidelity accusations against her.
"Actually, I am quite sad because I believe this slander has gone too far," said Paula when met at the Judicial Commission, Central Jakarta, Thursday (17/4/2025).
She said she is very concerned about the massive media coverage's impact on her young children who do not fully understand their parents' situation. "And here I have 2 sons whom I always protect their mental well-being," she said.
Paula also emphasized that throughout her marriage, she has never committed infidelity as alleged in the trial.
"I firmly state that there has been no infidelity during my marriage," she asserted.
Furthermore, Paula emphasized that during the trial, no evidence was found to support the existence of infidelity. "And there was also no evidence of infidelity presented in the trial," she continued.
With teary eyes, Paula revealed that she is going through all this not just to defend herself, but for her children and her family. "I am doing this for my children and my parents," she said.
She also added that she will be responsible for all her words and actions, not only legally but also spiritually. "And I hope that everything I say can be accounted for in the afterlife," said Paula. /aal
