Horror Film Teaser 'JALAN PULANG' Released, Featuring Luna Maya and Shareefa Daanish

This launch took place during a press conference held at CGV Grand Indonesia Jakarta and was attended by the cast, filmmakers, and representatives from national media.

Directed by Jeropoint and produced by Agung Saputra, JALAN PULANG has become one of the most anticipated horror films of the year. Previously, Agung Saputra successfully produced the box office film Sosok Ketiga (2023), which garnered over 1.1 million viewers and made it into the list of the all-time highest-grossing Indonesian films, as well as the phenomenal THAGUT in 2024.

In the film JALAN PULANG, the script is written by the creative team from Kelanara Studio. The story highlights the emotional struggle of a mother trying to save her child from supernatural forces. Unlike typical horror films, Jalan Pulang combines mystical tension with strong family drama. Set against the backdrop of a journey through Java Island, the film
presents a familiar yet eerie Indonesian atmosphere.

The story centers on Lastini (played by Luna Maya), a mother who mysteriously lost her husband (Edward Manalu). She believes that her daughter Arum's (Saskia Chadwick) illness is not an ordinary medical condition, but rather the result of supernatural powers controlling her child's body.

Knowing their time is limited before Arum's birthday, which falls on a leap year, Lastini, along with her two other children, Lia (Taskya Namya) and Rama (Raffan Al Aryan), embarks on a journey to seek help from shamans. However, in the midst of those rescue efforts, they must race against time and face the increasingly threatening forces against Arum's life.

now united on one screen.

Teuku Rifnu Wikana, Sudjiwo Tejo, Jajang C. Noer, Kiki Narendra, Ruth Marini, Widika Sidmore, Fajar Rezky, Cetul Leatherart, Sofia Mercedes, Eduwart Manalu, Martha Alichya, along with young talents like Raffan Al Aryan, Rachel Mikhayla. This cross-generational collaboration brings a new color and
enhances the emotions and intensity of the story.

Producer Agung Saputra revealed that JALAN PULANG is not just
about fear, but also about a mother's love who is willing to face anything to save her child. Director Jeropoint added that JALAN PULANG presents horror in a more symbolic and existential form.

The first teaser of JALAN PULANG can now be watched through the official social media
channel of Leo Pictures. The film is scheduled to be released simultaneously in cinemas across Indonesia on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
