Asked about the Job Creation Law, Ruben Onsu Explains the Condition of His Employees Currently

Ruben Onsu discusses this matter on the YouTube channel Sambel Lalap (7/10). He admits that he prioritizes the welfare of his employees logically. The husband of Sarwendah explains several things that he has done for his employees before the Job Creation Law became controversial.

1. Caring for Employees

Ruben said that he has done several things to show his concern for the employees. One of them is by providing BPJS insurance and private insurance.

"Before this, I have done things like this, so I'm not talking about the current situation. But what I did before this was like insurance. Company insurance is mandatory to have BPJS, but in my company, I added private insurance," said Ruben.

2. Regarding Leave

Furthermore, Betrand Peto's father also discussed the issue of employee leave. He said he would pay if any of his employees do not take leave.

"If they don't take leave, we will pay for it. There are employees who don't take leave because they want to keep working. So, since they don't take leave, we will pay for it," he explained.

3. Following Government Decisions

When asked about the Job Creation Law, Ruben admitted that he still couldn't comment. However, he emphasized that he always strives to humanize his employees in a logical way.

"So, if I see it, it's actually confusing, so if you say my company is not really a company, it's okay. It's just how I humanize people, it's through that logical way," he concluded.

At the end of the interview, Ruben Onsu chose to follow the government's decision. However, he still hopes that the country can balance personal interests in determining the law.
