Atalia Attends Divorce Hearing with Ridwan Kamil at PA Bandung, Already Separated for 6 Months

Kapanlagi.com - The continuation of the divorce lawsuit filed by Atalia Praratya against her husband, former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, was held again at the Religious Court (PA) Bandung today, Wednesday (31/12/2025). This series of hearings is an important stage in the legal process for the couple who have been married for 29 years.

Atalia Praratya filed for divorce from Ridwan Kamil in mid-December 2025 and has undergone the first and second hearings on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, and Friday (19/12/2025) respectively. Although the process was peaceful and they agreed to part ways amicably after mediation, Atalia did not change her mind and the divorce proceedings continued.

1. Atalia's Arrival and Hearing Agenda

Atalia Praratya, who is also currently serving as a member of the Indonesian Parliament (DPR RI), arrived at the Bandung Religious Court around 09:40 AM WIB with her legal team. She appeared in formal attire and gave a brief statement to reporters before entering the courtroom.

"Just pray for us, okay? There are many aspects to this, so please keep us in your prayers," Atalia said kindly to the media before the hearing began.

As for Ridwan Kamil, he was not present in person and was represented by his attorney, Wenda Aluwi, who stated that his presence followed the legal procedures in the hearing.

2. Mediation Results and Agreement to Expedite the Process

This hearing has several agendas, including reporting the mediation results, reading the lawsuit and responses, possible rebuttals and counter-rebuttals, as well as witness examinations and the presentation of conclusions.

Atalia's attorney, Debi Agusfriansa, explained that the mediation results between both parties were released on December 17, 2025, and because both parties agreed to separate, today's hearing schedule could be expedited without waiting a month as is usually the case.

"Today's agenda is to report the mediation results, then read the lawsuit, responses, possible rebuttals and counter-rebuttals, present two witnesses, and finally the conclusions," Debi told reporters.

3. No Third Party and Already Separated for 6 Months

Debi also emphasized that there is no third party that is the reason for the divorce, and such speculation has never been mentioned in the lawsuit.

"Names circulating such as AK, LM, or SM have never been mentioned in the lawsuit. In fact, our client and the defendant have been separated for six months," Debi asserted.

4. Hope for a Quick and Smooth Resolution

In today’s hearing, Atalia presented two witnesses from her side, namely a household assistant and her biological sibling, to provide testimony.

After the hearing, Atalia expressed her hope that the divorce process could proceed smoothly and quickly, as both parties have agreed to resolve it as best as possible.

"Next, we just have to wait for the conclusion and also the decision. Just pray for a smooth process. We want this process to be as quick and good as possible, because thank God both parties have agreed, so we ask for everyone’s prayers," Atalia concluded.
