Atalia and Ridwan Kamil Agree to Separate Amicably, Child Will Be Raised Together

The divorce petition Atalia Praratya against Ridwan Kamil has entered the mediation process. The mediation conducted by Member of the Indonesian Parliament Atalia Praratya and former Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil on Friday (19/12/2025) went well and without conflict.

Both parties ultimately agreed on several matters, including the decision to divorce and separate amicably. However, one important point from the agreement concerns child custody. From the mediation results, both agreed to co-parent their child together after the divorce.

"After undergoing a mediation process attended by each principal, namely Mr. Ridwan Kamil and Mrs. Atalia Praratya, both have agreed to part ways amicably," said Wenda in Bandung on Friday (19/12/2025).

The same was stated by Atalia Praratya's attorney, Debi Agusfriansa, who mentioned that the decision to separate was made jointly without any conflict.

One important thing to convey after the mediation process is the decision regarding the custody of the children after the separation. Based on the mediation results, both Atalia and Ridwan Kamil agreed to co-parent the children together.

"In essence, they have agreed to part ways amicably. Secondly, they will respect each other and will also jointly care for the children," said Debi Agusfriansa.

"Yes, we reiterate, both parties agree to separate amicably. We also emphasize that this is a mutual decision, with no involvement from third parties, and both parties agree to co-parent the children together," explained Debi.

The legal representatives of Atalia Praratya and Ridwan Kamil subsequently requested the public to respect the privacy of the parties involved in the divorce process.

With this decision, Atalia and Ridwan Kamil choose to resolve the divorce process in a good and honorable manner while continuing to pay attention to their children's lives moving forward. The legal process will continue until there is an official ruling from the court.
