Atalia Praratya and Ridwan Kamil Agree to Divorce, Mediation Goes Smoothly

Atalia Praratya and Ridwan Kamil have finally agreed to divorce. The member of the Indonesian House of Representatives and former Governor of West Java decided to end their marriage after going through the mediation process at the Bandung Religious Court. This agreement was announced by the legal teams of both parties on Friday, December 19, 2025.

According to Ridwan Kamil's attorney, Wenda Aluwi, the mediation attended directly by Atalia and Ridwan Kamil that afternoon went well. He stated that the result of the mediation was a number of agreements that had been mutually approved.

"We would like to convey that today, specifically this afternoon, the mediation of the case registered by Mrs. Atalia has been conducted and attended directly by the principals (Atalia and Ridwan Kamil) with the mediator from the Religious Court," said Wenda Aluwi, Ridwan Kamil's lawyer.

"After undergoing the mediation process attended by each principal, namely Mr. Ridwan Kamil and Mrs. Atalia Praratya, both have agreed to part ways amicably," Wenda continued in Bandung, Friday (19/12/2025).

Meanwhile, Atalia Praratya's attorney, Debi Agusfriansa, stated that the decision to separate was made together without any prolonged conflict.

The next process will proceed through the divorce trial agenda until the gavel is struck or an official decision is obtained from the court.

"Mediation will then proceed to the court agenda, and normatively, the divorce will be carried out properly together until the final decision from the court," he added.

With this mutually agreed decision, Atalia and Ridwan Kamil choose to complete the divorce process in a good and honorable manner, without much conflict that needs to be debated.
