Audited as a Witness in Iko Uwais Case, Audy Item: I'm Only Asked for Testimony

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Audy Item has just undergone questioning as a witness in relation to a report by a man named Rudi regarding the alleged assault carried out by Iko Uwais.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Metro Bekasi Police, Kompol Ivan Adhitira, explained that Audy Item was the sixth witness to be questioned by investigators in relation to the alleged assault case.

"Today, on this occasion, I would like to convey the latest development that six witnesses have been examined, one of whom is Ms. Audy who came to be questioned by investigators," said Ivan Adhitira at Metro Bekasi Police, Tuesday (21/6/2022).

"Later, we will analyze the results of Audy's testimony and other witnesses and conduct a mechanism for the case whether this event is a criminal act or not," added Ivan.

1. Two Hours of Questioning

During the two-hour questioning, Audy Item was asked 14 questions by investigators at Metro Bekasi Police. Audy herself was questioned by investigators because she was present at the location of the assault.

"For Ms. Audy herself, we have 14 questions related to the incident reported by the complainant. According to Mr. Iko Uwais, Ms. Audy was there," said Ivan.

2. Not the Last Witness

Ivan said that the singer of "Lagu Sendu" is not the last witness to be examined by investigators. Certainly, the police have already examined six witnesses related to Rudi's report.

"For now, mba Audy is only one person, so she is not the last witness. If it develops, we will call other witnesses. Six in total," said Ivan.

3. Rescheduled

Actually, Audy Item was scheduled to be questioned on Monday (20/6/2022). However, due to an unavoidable activity, the police ultimately rescheduled the examination of the mother of two.

"Asked to provide a statement. Alhamdulillah, I can only do it today. Maybe my friends were confused yesterday, it should have been on Monday. But it turns out I can only do it today. I told them yesterday that I had something to attend to, and I can only do it today," said Audy Item.

4. Already Undergoing Process

"Thank you also to the father of Kasat Polres Bekasi and friends for their attention. I am only here to provide a statement," concluded Audy Item.

Previously, on Friday (17/6/2022), Iko Uwais and Firmansyah had already undergone questioning at the Bekasi Kota Metro Police. The Raid actor was questioned for alleged assault against Rudi.

5. Feeling Defamed

The report was registered with number LP/B/1737/VI/2022/SPKT: Sat Reskrim/Polres Metro Bekasi Kota/Polda Metro Jaya. Feeling defamed, Iko Uwais reported Rudi to the Metro Jaya Regional Police for alleged defamation.

Iko Uwais reported Rudi with Article 351 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) on Assault and Articles 310 and 311 of the KUHP on Defamation.
