Audy Item Reveals Her Desire to Perform Tarawih Prayers Together with Iko Uwais at Istiqlal Mosque, Previously Her Husband Often Filmed Abroad During Ramadan

Kapanlagi.com - Amid her busy schedule, singer Audy Item continues to maintain a healthy lifestyle during Ramadan. She admits to still exercising, but in a more relaxed and regular way to stay strong while fasting.

"Just manage it. If there's time, it doesn't have to be complicated because of the exercise," said Audy when met in the Senayan area on Friday (28/2/2025).

One of the exercises she regularly does is walking on the treadmill. According to her, walking is more effective than running for maintaining physical fitness.

"Actually, for example, after breaking the fast, if there's time after eating or before eating, drink first, just walk on the treadmill for 45 minutes," she said.

"Walking is the best, walking is better than running. That's basically what I do every day. If there's time, we do it," she added.

1. Tarawih Prayer at Istiqlal

In addition to maintaining health, Audy also wants to focus more on worship this Ramadan. She even expressed her desire to perform Tarawih prayers at Istiqlal Mosque with her husband.

"Yesterday I just talked to Iko, Wow, I want to do Tarawih at Istiqlal this year. Come on, tell Iko. Because sometimes during the previous Ramadans, Iko was shooting abroad, you know," she revealed.

This year, Audy hopes her husband can spend more time at home and not be busy with shooting schedules abroad. "God willing, God willing," she said.

2. Selective in Accepting Shooting Offers

Audy also mentioned that Iko is now more selective in choosing shooting locations. If it is too far from family, Iko will reconsider his decision.

"It seems like he is also getting tired of going too far. He said, I’m already checking now, if this can’t be far from his wife and kids, you know," said Audy.

According to her, Iko now prioritizes time with family over taking jobs in distant locations.

"I mean, if it’s a far location, he thinks about it. Wow, the shooting place is really far, you know. It can't just be close," she concluded.
