Fiersa Besari Finally Gives News, Condition Stable - Has Returned to Timika

Kapanlagi.com - Fiersa Besari is known to be one of the climbers of Cartenz Pyramid - Papua on Thursday (27/2). During the climb, Lilie Wijayanti and Elsa Laksono passed away. The public has been questioning Fiersa's condition.

Through a post on his personal Instagram on Monday (3/3), Fiersa reported that he is now back in Timika in stable condition.

"Currently, Furky Syahroni and I have just arrived back in Timika, Central Papua (March 3, 2025) after being delayed in YV due to bad weather affecting helicopter traffic. Our condition is, thank God, stable," wrote Fiersa.

"I also want to apologize for only informing about the situation at Cartensz Pyramid (the highest peak in Indonesia, also known as Puncak Jaya) now, as we at the Yellow Valley (YV) basecamp were also very shocked and saddened by the tragedy that has occurred," Fiersa expressed.

Fiersa also admitted that he only learned about the tragedy affecting Lilie and Elsa after arriving at the basecamp.

"The series of tragedies that befell Mrs. Lilie and Mrs. Elsa, as well as 3 other victims who were still trapped in the cliff area at that time, were only known to me and Furky Syahroni after we arrived at the TV basecamp (we arrived on February 28, 2025 - 22:48 WIT, received news on March 1, 2025 - around 04:00 WIT)," explained Fiersa.

2. Expressing Condolences

"Shocked and saddened, but together with the people at YV, we contacted the trapped victims using radios to keep them responsive, until they were finally rescued by volunteers, both local and international, on March 1, 2025. Alhamdulillah, all three were safe, although they were in critical condition for a while," he continued.

In the series of posts, Fiersa also expressed condolences for the passing of Lilie Wijayanti and Elsa Laksono.

"I express my condolences for the passing of Mrs. Lilie Wijayanti Poegiono (Mamak Pendaki) and Mrs. Elsa Laksono. May the families left behind be granted patience and strength. May Mrs. Lilie and Mrs. Elsa be given the best place by His side," wrote Fiersa.

Previously, Fiersa Besari's wife had uploaded a screenshot showing her chat with Fiersa. The chat was left unanswered, with only one check mark. She hoped her husband was in good condition.

"I hope they are doing well there, returning without any lack. I cannot share anything because I do not have the right and do not clearly know the situation there," wrote Aqia Nurfadla in an Instagram story last Sunday (2/3).
