Baim Cilik Reveals Allegations of Child Exploitation by His Father, Filming Stripping Until Late at Night While Still Young

Kapanlagi.com - After a long absence from the screen, Baim Alkatiri, a former child artist known by the stage name Baim Cilik, is back in the public eye. However, it's not for returning to the entertainment world, but rather because of a sad story he revealed about his relationship with his father.

In a recent podcast he attended, Baim finally dared to speak out about his family's complicated situation. He shared about his less harmonious relationship with his father, especially since his parents divorced. Baim revealed that for the past two years, his father has not supported him financially, even though he feels he is still entitled to it.

I've said everything, I've explained that the facts are unchanged, in fact, there are still things I haven't revealed and I won't disclose everything at once; I will reveal it step by step,u201d said Baim when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (10/9/2024).

Baim Cilik's parents are suspected of having exploited their child. At that time, Baim, who was still underage, had to shoot for long hours until late at night. Because of this, Baim did not hesitate to admit that there were indications of child exploitation in his life experiences.

"Yes, you could say it's exploitation, yes, 98 percent," he said.

Baim also shared how he is trying to learn from this bitter experience and is determined not to follow in his father's footsteps if he becomes a father in the future.

Although he claims not to have experienced trauma, Baim feels that the relationship between him and his father has never really been close since childhood. When his father eventually left his life, Baim admitted to being confused and feeling that something was wrong.

“No trauma, I’ve never really been close to my dad since I was little. It was like, even when he disappeared, I was still confused about why it had to be like this,” he said.

2. Communication Breakdown

This already strained relationship worsened when the father decided to cut off communication with Baim. The last time they spoke was during last year's Eid over the phone, but afterward, Baim's phone number was blocked by his father.

"The last communication with my dad was during Eid last year when I called. But if we talk like normal people, that was in 2022, and after that, it was over. Then I got blocked right after Eid," he concluded.
