Artist Baim Wong has officially filed for divorce from his wife, Paula Verhoeven, at the South Jakarta Religious Court. However, before the lawsuit was filed, Baim revealed that Paula had already discussed the issue of joint assets. Check out the complete picture!
"And actually, I'm also confused about the discussion, sorry, I'm really sorry, the joint assets were discussed before we had the divorce," said Baim at the Tiger Wong Entertainment office on Tuesday (8/10/2024).
Baim is surprised by Paula's attitude, who discussed this matter long before the divorce decision. He did not hesitate to ask Paula directly about her reasons for discussing the joint assets.
"I also asked, 'what's the point of asking about joint assets? We haven't divorced yet?" Baim said with a trembling voice, holding back tears.
This confusion further led Baim to decide to file for divorce from Paula Verhoeven. The lawsuit was officially registered on Monday, October 7, 2024.
Although their relationship is on the verge of separation, Baim Wong only included two things in his lawsuit, namely the divorce petition and child custody, without addressing the issue of joint assets.
Baim Wong's divorce petition has been registered with case number 3477/Pdt.G/2024/PA.JS on October 8, 2024. The first hearing for this divorce process is scheduled to take place on October 23, 2024, at the South Jakarta Religious Court.
