Baim Wong revealed facts about the alleged infidelity of Paula Verhoeven at a press conference held on Tuesday (08/10) afternoon. In his statement, Baim mentioned that Paula replaced her mistress's name with that of a female friend.
Baim recounted that he initially did not suspect such a thing could happen in his household. However, upon noticing something odd, he began to feel suspicious.
"I didn't expect it when I found out that the man's phone was replaced by the woman," said Baim Wong in the Bintaro area of South Jakarta, Tuesday (8/10/2024).
The disappointment felt by Baim is very deep. As a husband, he admits it is difficult to forgive that, especially because he does not know for sure what happened between Paula and that man.
"You all are also men, right? When in that position, it is very hard to forgive because, sorry, I don’t know what they were doing," he said.
Fahmi Bachmid, Baim Wong's legal counsel, added that the alleged affair has been going on since the end of last year, specifically in November 2023.
"So basically, what Baim said has been happening for almost a year now, specifically in November 2023," said Fahmi Bachmid.
Fahmi also emphasized that although complete details cannot be disclosed, this situation has made Baim take a firm step to file for divorce.
"The material does not need to be conveyed, what is important is that there is an extraordinary problem here, so a husband takes the stance of filing for divorce in the religious court," he explained.
