Because of a Snake, Luna Maya Had to Spend Two Days to Shoot One Scene in the Film 'SUZZANA MALAM JUMAT KLIWON'

Obviously, this became one of the toughest challenges for her, especially since Luna Maya admitted that she has a phobia of snakes. Initially, Luna Maya was confident because she only had to deal with cockroaches in one scene, not snakes.

"So the original script was cockroaches. I challenged, 'where are the cockroaches?' I didn't expect snakes," Luna Maya said when met in the Senayan area, South Jakarta, not long ago.

1. Wanted to Use Cockroaches

After knowing that she had to deal with a snake, Luna tried to convince the producer and director Guntur to use cockroaches. However, the decision was still to use a snake, so Luna Maya had to face her fear.

"Then I tried to convince Mr. Sunil and Mr. Guntur, 'just use cockroaches, it's cool,' it doesn't threaten lives," she said.

2. Two Days of Shooting Process

As a result, because of this, the scene that was supposed to be quick ended up lasting for two days. In the same opportunity, Guntur said that a snake was chosen to maximize a scene in the movie SUZZANA MALAM JUMAT KLIWON.

"It was supposed to be a short scene. But I was ready with 1,000 cockroaches at that time," he said.

"Because I wanted this scene to be deadly, because if not, then the scene wouldn't be achieved, it would be incomplete," Guntur, as the director, concluded.
