Kapanlagi.com - Criticisms and insults from netizens apparently do not make Doddy Sudrajat, Eva Manurung, Barbie Kumalasari, Tessa Mariska, and Nursyah (mother of Indah Permatasari) feel discouraged. Instead, they use it as motivation to create and form a group called The Netizen.

Not only that, The Netizen has just released their first single titled Mundur Wir. During the press conference for the launch of the single Mundur Wir in Mampang area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (21/7) night, Tessa Mariska explained how The Netizen was formed.

She explained that it all started from the trend of the Mundur Wir video on TikTok. Tessa claimed that the video received tens of millions of views in a short period of time.

1. Starting from VT TikTok

"Initially we made VT Mundur Wir and when I uploaded it on TikTok I immediately got 11 million viewers, now there are a total of 50 million viewers, and because we were combined by netizens, The Netizen was formed," said Tessa Mariska.

"Yes, it started from gathering and then it came to my mind why not make a song. From here we prove to netizens that we are not fake, we are entertainers because you still watch us even if you bully us," continued Virgoun's mother, Eva Manurung, in the same occasion.

2. Curses Turned into Blessings

In addition, Doddy Sudrajat also expressed similar sentiments with his two colleagues. According to him, the curses and insults often directed at him and other members of The Netizen actually turned into a blessing.

"We created The Netizen by mutual agreement," said Doddy Sudrajat.

"We are all cursed and insulted by netizens, but it's not that we hate netizens, but instead it becomes a blessing," he added.
