In a podcast aired by Bloom Media, she stated that many modern women have successful careers and earn higher salaries compared to their male partners.
"These days are not like the old days, right? Most women are working now, and from what I've seen, many women actually earn more than men," said Rachel Vennya in a YouTube interview with Bloom Media.
Rachel emphasizes that this phenomenon is not a problem, as long as the man shows effort and responsibility in their relationship.
"In my surroundings, the average woman who earns more than her male partner is actually not a problem, but when I see the man not growing, that’s really frustrating," said the 29-year-old woman.
Rachel said, adding that the effort made by a partner is something that is greatly appreciated even if the results may not always be perfect.
"Let's talk realistically, a 100 percent effort doesn't necessarily yield a 100 percent result, but if the effort is 100 percent, we as women respect that," concluded the star of the film Hutang Nyawa.
