Jennifer Bachdim and her family are currently in the dark. The entire island of Bali is experiencing a blackout after the underwater power cable supplying electricity from Java to Bali encountered issues.
The darkness that has engulfed Bali has led Jennifer, who usually sleeps in a separate room from her children, to decide to sleep together tonight. They are having a sleepover in the family room and setting up mattresses on the floor.
The family of Jennifer Bachdim and Irfan Bachdim is currently among the victims of the Bali blackout. They have decided to sleep together amidst the pitch-black situation that has befallen the entire island.
While preparing the bed in the family room, Jennifer recorded the moment and uploaded it to her Insta Story on Friday, (2/5) night. The bright light comes from her child's phone flashlight.
Even though it was dark, Jennifer's young children were actually very happy. They jumped joyfully, enjoying the mattress spread out on the floor.
"Hiro, is this our mattress tonight? We decided to sleep together tonight, guys. The electricity is out. It's really hot," Jennifer said in English.
Jennifer's eldest child helped arrange the mattress for them to sleep on tonight. Meanwhile, the younger siblings jumped around excitedly.
"It's really hot," said Jennifer's child. The air in their house, which is usually cool with air conditioning, is now as hot as the air outside due to the power outage.
Nevertheless, Jennifer and her family are facing the outage with laughter and smiles. Especially these two cheerful little kids.
