Behind Faby Marcelia's Resilience as a Single Parent, Choosing to Cry in the Bathroom

Living a dual role as a single parent, Faby acknowledges that it presents extraordinary mental challenges. She does not deny that there are times when she feels very tired and fragile. As a woman, the emotional burden often comes during her busy work in the entertainment world.

Nevertheless, the singer of the song Pura-Pura strives with all her might not to show her sadness in front of her children. She builds a strong defense wall so that her children always see their mother in prime and happy condition. For her, the mental well-being of the children is the top priority that must be maintained.

"Yeah, what? Is it hard to be a single parent, sis? There are definitely tough times, because we are women, but we have to be able to... ahhh... be all the roles. There must be feelings of exhaustion, there must be, and there’s definitely sadness. So, in front of the children, you have to be strong, you have to still look okay, cheerful and all," she said.

Faby revealed a sad fact about how she expresses her emotions. Not wanting to appear weak in front of her family, she chooses hidden places to shed her tears. Those private moments bear silent witness to her inner struggles all this time.

"Actually, I cry in the bathroom or while driving," Faby candidly stated.

Many people may be deceived by Faby's outward appearance, which always seems carefree. She is often perceived as having a perfect and happy life. However, according to her, everyone has their own problems; it's just that the way they deal with them is different.

"Yes, because I have never shown my sadness or such problems. So, what is important is that you all know I am doing well. After all, many people say things like 'it must be nice to be you, just happy and no problems.' No, everyone definitely has problems, I just know how to hide them well," she concluded.
