Being a Couple in a Movie, Jefri Nichol Asks for Rizky Nazar's Permission When Doing Intimate Scenes with Syifa Hadju

Nichol admits to inviting Syifa to hang out at a cafe just the two of them. Not only that, outside of their reading activities, they also took the time to talk about the characters Mel and Satya that they played.

"Before shooting with Syifa, we have a ritual of walking together to talk and have coffee. It's important. We talk outside of the reading hours about how far the character will go," said Nichol when met in Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (5/9/2023).

Because there are physical scenes where they have to be intimate like lovers, Jefri Nichol also asked for permission from Syifa Hadju for the comfort of both parties.

In addition, Jefri Nichol also admitted to asking for permission from Rizky Nazar as Syifa's boyfriend. Likewise, Syifa didn't forget to ask for permission from Jefri Nichol's girlfriend.

"I asked for permission from Syifa, permission from her mother, and permission from Iky (Rizky Nazar). I even called him Iky. And Syifa asked for permission from my girlfriend," said Nichol.

Furthermore, Syifa Hadju said that Jefri Nichol was very polite to her throughout the filming process. So she felt comfortable being his co-star.

"This is the first time I've acted with Nichol where we have a lot of love interest scenes. But honestly, I feel very comfortable working with Nichol because he is open about anything. He is polite," Syifa explained on the same occasion.

Previously, Jefri Nichol suddenly posted a passport-sized photo on Instagram a while ago. The photo with a blue background is usually associated with handling marriage documents. However, it turns out that it was only part of the promotional marketing for the film MOHON DOA RESTU, in which he stars alongside Syifa Hadju.
